This month saw delivey of af an update to the pig movement system, eAML2, to incorporate the new reporting requirements for vet attestations for pig farmers.
The purpose of a vet attestation is a new requirement to comply with export requirements to verify the absence of notifiable disease and provide general advice on farm biosecurity.
Working with AHDB, we acted fast to implement the new feature in eAML2 to meet all the reporting requirements for vet attestations. By integrating this functionality into the movement system, pig farmers are able to supply the necessary information as part of their existing regular processes. A smart choice, easing the burden for the industry.
